Anti-Choice Tim Roemer Drops Out of the Race for DNC Chair!
As you may already know, former Congressman and 9/11 Commissioner Tim Roemer dropped out of the race for DNC chair and cited NARAL Pro-Choice America's opposition to his candidacy as "a radioactive anvil around my neck." The most striking thing about his statement is the weight given to our power of persuasion as NARAL Pro-Choice America did not have a vote in the Chair's race.
Without the hard work of NARAL volunteers, our efforts to organize against Roemer's candidacy would not have been successful. This truly illustrates the grassroots organizing power that NARAL Pro-Choice America and it's state affiliates have when we work together. On behalf of all the staff at NARAL Pro-Choice America and NARAL Pro-Choice North Carolina, thank you for sending postcards.
