Write a letter for Back Up Your Birth Control Day
One in five women in North Carolina experiences sexual assault in her lifetime. If provided the emergency contraceptive, Plan BŪ, in the hospital emergency department, she can significantly lower her risk of experiencing the additional trauma of becoming pregnant as a result of the sexual assault. Please help us spread the word about Plan BŪ and the need for compassionate care for rape victims! Next Tuesday is Back Up Your Birth Control Day, and we are asking our super activists around the state to write letters to the editor to bring attention to this urgent matter for survivors of sexual assault!
